A coffee blend of Ethiopian Harrar and Indonesian Java Arabica bean. Mocha Java was the first “official” coffee blend to catch on in the West. The original blend includes one part of Mocha (Yemen) coffee to two parts Indonesian Java coffee. As coffees from Yemen are almost impossible to source due to political conflicts, the majority of Mocha Java is a blend of other single-origins. The wild, fruity energy of Ethiopian coffees balance out perfectly with the full, spicy character of beans from Indonesia. This coffee is full-bodied with a rich, nutty taste, a complex aroma and is perfect for brewing as drip to enjoy the smooth, balanced cup with notes of chocolate and dried fruit.
